The Customer

The Business Challenge
One of CyberStreams customers has an Apple server and workstations that need to be backed up to an offsite server automatically. With sensitive data and a network of technicians depending on access to that data, the customer became conscious of the need for a plan in case of natural disaster.
Another customer, the CEO of a company served by CyberStreams, used a failover machine with his laptop and his office desktop computer. He wanted an extra layer of security and automation to protect his 20 gigs of data.
For CyberStreams, the challenge was to find a software solution that would meet the needs of both customers – and of potential future customers. Since some customers outsource all their IT needs to CyberStreams, it was essential that the solutions include user interfaces that would be friendly to end users after setup.
